THE ODD SEMESTER COMES TO AN END

                               

                              Exams was shifted about 1& half a month from the scheduled date.I needn't repeat again.But still ,can you all help me with just one word ,one adjective that would describe the whole B..P.U.T?
R.K.NAYAK sir was correct in saying-"the more  time you get for your exams,the more lousy will be your preparation.The subject with which most people had difficulty was not Maths but "MATHS-3".There was a whole lot of confusion among people regarding the question paper ,course content .So out of frustration people headed for the dean's chamber for solutions.The very next week a DIRECTOR-DEAN-STUDENTS meeting was held.Director sir was in his most fearful form.He gave answers to our problems with lots of kick of reality & factual things.Be it fees hike,bus transport,library facilities....everything to which he had a solid answers to.Though whatever he told was 100% true ,it still was difficult for us to swallow whatever he said.&  lemme tell all of you one thing,there are just few colleges where the Dean or Director of the organisation come & listen to student's woes personally. In this way the 3rd "memorable"semester comes to an end.
This sem saw the shifting of students from their temporary shelter to permanent ones.As a result ,people couldn't see each other,interact with each other the way it was in dormitories.It had its own pros& cons..On one hand it provided ample personal space,whereas on other hand it led to "see him/her once in a week "kind of situation.
Srikant&pratik's room was the cloak room-there room was never locked,everyone comes ,leaves there thing & go elsewhere.Kamal,rashmi& natti's room was "the common room"of 2nd floor.All kind of discussions ,board meeting were held in this place.Somewhere in the mid of the sem,this was the room where only "British English "was spoken.& do u know the reason why??Because nattis was in depression for scoring "D"in English.So every time u go inside this room you find everyone speaking in english or hindi sometimes.Phrases like -"the cows are grazing silently","the rain is raining very fast",aaj baarish ho rahi hey" would be the miraculous word you would often encounter.Also at one point of time,all of the inmates of 2nd floor(L-BLOCK)became devdas maniac.(devdas here refers to a fast-food center).Moving on monty,jivi & bunking -this was the room where you get food item round the year,round the clock.So it was by instinct that I visited this room very often. Bari's room was the common room,gaming room,guest-faculty(sujit)room of the 1st floor.It was also the reception room-for whenever any one  had bought lunch or dinner in bulk,then this was the hide-out.This was also the place where the guest-maths faculty..Mr.Sujit Mohapatra taught his illiterate,ignorant students like me maths just the day before internals.Moving on ,the last room of 1st floor,K-block -"THE PAAD ROOM"nothing Non-Veg in this.It means P-Pratyush,A-Asim,A-Ankit,D-Debashish(aamba).It was the waiting room of 1st floor.Every one who came to the aqua guard to fetch water,halted at "PAAD'S "room ,took rest,do some facebooking & then return to their destination.Hence their room was always in chaos.(even when there was no water in aqua guard).& Do u know the reason why???Because "GOD"himself or Gyanbit had made this waiting hall ,his temporary shelter.Leaving the M-TECH room & 2-3 others,the whole ground block was a gaming zone.LAPTOPS,ROUTERS,LAN WIRES....that's all you could see in this block.This semester I also turned myself into a Movie-Critic.Didn't get it?OK ,I think this was the year where I just saw the maximum number of movies in a go.After watching so many of them,I could get what was so different between Hollywood,bollywood & tollywood.Hollywood movies are basically very precise in their screenplay,they  just show the every minute detail minus the song-dance we have in bollywood.They have very strict,rigid routine to get the cast of the movie.Technically they are very superior.But if u want to relax & don't want a tensed,high on thinking kind of movie ,then you can opt for tollywood.Everything is good here except the "stunts"the actor perform.Even batman,superman would  fear seeing them perform.Bollywood is a bit like copy-paste machine & relies a lot in star power.But a lot of good small -budget movies have come up lately with good storyline.The only way to watch them is if u have a relaxed bent of mind & have lots of patience to watch them.
