        Hated to be called as "THE WARDEN"..the 50+ guy from the forest department proved to be a handy character.  Nicknamed as "chulbul pandey"by many of our batch mates,he arrived in campus unleashing his "reign of terror".If we go back down the line of Indian Political history ,we see that the invaders/emperors hailing 4m places outside the  subcontinent usually came,saw,grabbed land & settled here.But the Britishers were of different blood.They not only looted the Indian treasury but also snatched away the basic freedom of the countrymen.Hence dis anger erupted in the form of "sepoy mutiny of 1857".Dat was way back in1857 but dis is 2010.As always the saying goes-"history repeats itself",same was the scenario here too.A small mutiny was raged against "chulbul pandey".The freshers who had left der homes just a week ago,got a taste of what an engineering life is all about.All people gathered at the open space of the A.O building(administrative office),& sat somewhere around an hour discussing about the possible options oft resignation of the "concerned "person...but to my dismay ..Muktikant sir came into the scene in a "rambo" style ,gave a strong speech for which the strike was called off.yet another unsuccessful strike after the "unsuccessful mess strike" in 1st sem.But after this incident ,"chulbul pandey" became more polite in his approach towards the students,but still he never left his ways of "high degree bluffing".Take one example-"'I am the coach of east coast railway volleyball team.,under my able guidance dey sweat ed like hell due to which the players begged for a break".The students listening to all this could only say-"wah sir ji...aap to badey kamal kein hein".
